I read anything that's nailed down, or even just moving slowly. Cereal boxes, candy wrappers, all genres, etc., and I don't always have much time for arbitrary distinctions like literary fiction vs. genre fiction.

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy - Douglas Adams Silly, funny, absurd, British. I now understand any number of pop culture references. As a novel, though, it just didn't grab me the way I thought it would. Maybe a matter of expectations set too high?
